Opening Ceremony of Asia-e-University Mardan Facilitation Center 02-06-2021
Asia e University Malaysia’s Mardan Facilitation Center has been inaugurated by Prof. Dr Omar Masood (CEO OM International) located opposite the main gate of “Khan Abdul Walli Khan University”. Dr Muhammad Idrees and Dr Tariq Mahmud warmly welcomed the OM team to the inauguration Ceremony. The event was attended by a large audience which included people from all strata of the society, academia and the cooperate sector. The event was a huge success which was demonstrated by the keen interest shown by the audience.
Prof. Dr. Omar CEO OM International visited HE Ikram bin Mohammed Ibrahim the out going Malaysia Ambassador. He thanked him for his unwaivering support & assistance in making AEU the leading international distance learning University in Pakistan. OM International / Learning Partner Asia-e-University, Malaysia and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) group have signed an MOU to collaborate in providing AEU’s, internationally recognized distance learning programs, as career development pathways for their officials, staff and students. The MOU was signed by “Prof. Dr. Omar Masood” CEO / OM International and “Mrs Shazia Zaheer” Head of HR and Learning/Development of the PTCL Group.
Opening Ceremony, Asia e University Malakand Facilitation Centre (3rd March, 2021)Â
The inauguration ceremony of the Malakand Facilitation Centre was another step towards ODL learning system. The event was hosted at the Malakand Facilitation Centre on the 3rd March, 2021, by the Director of the Malakand Facilitation Centre, Ms. Farkhanda Jabeen along with her team members. The CEO of OM International Pvt Ltd, Prof. Dr. Omar Masood joined the opening ceremony of Malakand Facilitation Center. Dr. Omar explained the need for quality higher education in Pakistan and the opportunity Asia e University provides through its world-class globally recognized as well as by HEC Pakistan. Ikram Bin Mohammad Ibrahim, High Commissioner of Malaysia in Pakistan, has formally inaugurated Asia e University-AeU (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Lahore Facilitation Center at Alhamra Art Council, Mall Road Lahore on August 18, 2019. The initiative will further promote brotherly cooperation between Malaysia and Pakistan through education and sharing of knowledge and research. A large number of people from all walks of life including young students and faculty members of various educational institutes also attended the event. Asia e University Malaysia’s Lahore Facilitation Centre is facilitating and registering students for AeU online and on-campus (in Kuala Lumpur) Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs of international standing. AeU is a collaborative multinational university initiated by the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), of which Pakistan is an important member.
Asia e University (AeU) and ICMA Pakistan entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on 17th April, 2019 at Malaysian .High Commission in Islamabad. ICMA Pakistan delegation was led by its president Mr. Zia ul Mustafa and OM International, which is AeU partner in Pakistan, was represented by its CEO Prof. Dr. Omar Masood and Mohammad Maqbool FCA.

AeU is supported by 34 ACD member countries and approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) as well as recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan.
